Job summary

Dollar General seeks a Regional Store Manager to plan and lead the activities of all stores within the assigned area, with full profit and loss responsibility and alignment to company objectives. You will drive area sales growth, ensure optimal inventory practices, and develop store teams.

This role requires leadership experience in multi-unit retail, strong financial acumen, and the ability to recruit and train staff while meeting budgeted targets.

Qualifications

• Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility and full P&L responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Weekly travel in a company-provided vehicle with driving license and acceptable history.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead activities of all stores within the assigned area.
• Achieve area sales growth and meet company targets.
• Ensure effective use of tools for inventory presentation and management.
• Recruit, select and educate employees; develop human capital.
• Protect company assets through loss prevention and expense efficiencies.
• Communicate divisional and regional priorities to store teams.
