Job summary

Stio is seeking a Retail Area Manager to lead Mountain Studio retail operations. You will drive multi-store leadership, budget ownership, and talent development across stores, reporting to the Retail Senior Director.

Based in Denver (with flexibility for near Boston), you will hire Store Managers, manage EBITDA, and partner with Planning and Finance to execute initiatives and store openings while traveling up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 8+ years in retail leadership with budget ownership.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Excel required; experience with Asana preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Grow the retail channel with leadership and cross-divisional collaboration to enhance customer and employee experiences.
• Hire Store Managers and oversee onboarding quality.
• Support retail hiring needs with Store Managers and HR.
• Monitor team progress and project execution across stores.
• Own budget management including EBITDA and annual/ monthly planning.
• Participate in capital expense and assortment planning when relevant.
• Support local retail marketing and KPI progress for Mountain Studio.
