Job summary

Stio seeks a Retail Area Manager to lead Mountain Studio locations with multi-unit accountability, budget ownership, and team development in Denver and nearby markets.

You will collaborate with the Retail Director and HR to hire and onboard Store Managers, drive KPIs, and ensure strong customer and employee experiences across stores.

Role requires travel up to 40% annually, with a focus on growing the retail channel and delivering results in a dynamic, outdoor lifestyle brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with retail leadership experience.
• 8+ years in multi-unit retail leadership with $12M+ volume responsibility.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Excel; knowledge of Asana preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow the retail channel by partnering with leadership and cross-divisional teams.
• Hire and onboard Store Managers; support store teams with HR.
• Manage budgets, EBITDA, and monthly forecasts across stores.
• Coordinate capital expenditures and assortment planning when relevant.
• Support local retail marketing and KPI achievement.
• Travel up to 40% annually and collaborate with key stakeholders.
