Job summary

Stio is seeking a Mountain Studio Manager for the Greenwich, Connecticut location, opening late fall / early winter 2026. You will lead the team, drive store sales, manage budgets, and ensure an exceptional customer experience aligned with the Stio brand.

You will forecast revenue and expenses, develop staff, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to engage the local community in a new market, while maintaining best-in-class operations and service.

Qualifications

• High school equivalency or GED required.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
• Retail leadership and/or management experience with 2+ employees.
• Experience building teams in new market communities.
• 5+ years in retail operations.
• Budget forecasting experience required.
• Inventory management experience required.
• Proven experience in visual merchandising.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills across all levels and the local community.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute an exceptional retail environment for customers and community.
• Inspire and lead the sales team on the floor daily.
• Develop the associate managers, full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff.
• Forecast and manage the store budget including revenue and operating expenses.
• Implement plans to hit monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
• Drive new customer acquisition and presence in a new market.
• Plan and execute visual merchandising and marketing plans.
• Serve as liaison between store team and corporate leadership.
• Proactively manage schedule and staff availability to ensure leadership presence.
