Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a General Manager role to plan and lead store operations across the assigned area with full P&L responsibility, aligning with company objectives and policies.

You will drive area sales growth, ensure excellent customer service, oversee recruitment and development, and optimize inventory and merchandising across multiple stores, often traveling weekly in a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Four+ years retail management with increasing responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Big-box retail mgmt and/or equivalent education/experience.
• Drives results, plans effectively, focuses on customers, analyzes data.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams and ensure compliance with DG mission and values.
• Administer HR policies fairly.
• Provide superior customer service through friendly stores.
• Achieve area annual sales growth targets.
• Utilize tools for inventory presentation and management.
• Plan and execute company objectives.
• Recruit, select, and educate employees and customers.
• Protect company assets via loss prevention.
