Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a store operations leader to oversee promotional execution, cost controls, and daily retail performance. You will guide store management, implement policies, and ensure profitable results.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and 3–5 years of retail experience with some managerial responsibility. You’ll work with Marketing and vendors to optimize promotions and stock while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of retail business experience or more preferred; including minimum of 2 years of management responsibility.
• Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
• Must have demonstrated leadership ability, good communication skills, be self-directed, self-motivated and customer service oriented.
• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
• Ability to supervise and train Store Managers in use of store equipment, tools and materials.
• Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the SM job description.
• A current valid driver's license is required to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Recap promotional activity and report trends to store management.
• Educate managers on controlling costs and scheduling.
• Collaborate with Marketing on promotions and new products.
• Provide feedback to category managers on stock issues.
• Ensure product availability by coordinating with vendors.
• Lead monthly promotions and monitor vendor performance.
• Forecast requirements and assist in annual budgeting.
• Recruit, select, and orient staff; coach for development.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain secure environment.
