Job summary

externallincarecareers is seeking a senior operations leader responsible for P&L across several centers and operational oversight of one center. You will hire and train center managers, develop regional business plans, and ensure regulatory compliance with FDA, DOT, OSHA, and related agencies.

The role requires extensive interaction with regulatory personnel, referral sources, and corporate staff, plus a strong background in accounting/finance and sales within the respiratory care field.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience with Lincare or industry similar to Lincare.
• BS Degree or equivalent.
• Experience dealing with regulatory agencies (FDA, DOT, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Has P&L responsibility for several centers and operational responsibility for one center, including interviewing, hiring, training, and supervision of quality center managers.
• Develops and submits to a regional vice president a business plan with sales forecasts, budgets, and manpower projections.
• Responsible for asset management, inventories, fixed investment, and rolling stock.
• Provides a safe working environment in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local regulations (DOT, FDA, EEO, OSHA, etc.).
• Maintains Medicare regulations and reimbursement knowledge for government and private payer.
• Monitors respiratory market and reports to regional VP on competition and potential acquisitions.
• Manages salary budget and ensures policy/procedure compliance and accreditation records.
• Requires strong accounting/finance knowledge and a sales background; regulatory interactions with various stakeholders.
