Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice.
• Experience in a rehab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains systems to enhance the facility's reputation for respiratory therapy.
• Monitors revenue, productivity and gross profit margin goals for the department.
• Contributes to census development and marketing efforts in coordination with the facility.
• Ensures staff education and ongoing professional development.
• Documents accurately to regulatory and billing standards.
• Provides patient treatments per current clinical procedures and policies.
• Maintains safety and proper equipment operation; follows safety protocols.
