Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to oversee rehabilitation services across multiple facilities in the region. You will lead physical, occupational and speech therapy programs, manage budgets, and drive quality and efficiency in patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved OT/PT/SLP program with a BS/BA.
• Current active licensure in OT/PT/SLP.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience.
• Minimum two to three years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assumes ultimate responsibility for rehabilitation service operations within assigned region.
• Oversees service and operational excellence to meet patient and staff expectations.
• Mentors and trains Directors of Rehab to ensure consistency across the region.
• Ensures adequate coverage of therapy services in all facilities in the region.
• Plans, organizes and directs operational activities of Rehabilitation Services and implements strategic initiatives.
• Integrates organizational strategic plan with daily business operations.
• Reviews quality and effectiveness of therapy programs and services.
• Manages development of high quality, cost effective clinical programs.
• Develops collaboration between facility departments to provide integrated care.
• Forecasts revenues, expenses, and capital needs for service lines.
• Manages annual budgets and analyzes cost and productivity.
• Develops new strategies to grow market share and improve performance.
• Markets service lines to physicians and the community.
