Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Senior Refrigeration Systems Engineer to design, optimize, and manage complex refrigeration and facility systems across multiple locations. You will lead cross-functional teams, integrate advanced controls, and drive reliability, energy efficiency, and safety initiatives.

You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, IT, and external vendors to implement capital projects, modernize equipment, and ensure business continuity while traveling across the regional footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• PE license or RETA CIRO certification preferred.
• 5 years of industrial refrigeration/cold chain experience with multi-site leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, optimization, and lifecycle management of facility systems.
• Provide advanced technical support for infrastructure and controls.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, IT, EHS, and vendors to drive improvements.
• Monitor system performance and lead root cause analyses.
• Manage external vendors and contractors for projects.
