Job summary

Indiana Department of Correction, through the Hoosier Initiative for Re-Entry, seeks a Regional HIRE Coordinator to deliver workforce readiness for incarcerated individuals and parolees. You will lead employer engagement and outreach to form partnerships that support post-release employment.

You will develop program materials, market these initiatives, and advocate for inclusive hiring practices with community partners. Strong communication with diverse stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role applying program knowledge and skills.
• Working knowledge of program subject matter, pertinent rules and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of accounting and budget principles.
• Ability to implement new principles and policies and discern implications.

Responsibilities

• Develop program materials and marketing initiatives.
• Facilitate relationships with community partners.
• Advocate for inclusive hiring practices toward formerly incarcerated individuals.
