Job summary

Mark IV Capital is seeking an experienced Development Manager to join its Texas team in Round Rock. The role focuses on developing and executing regional strategy, managing development projects from concept to completion, and coordinating with architects, engineers, attorneys, and other consultants to deliver on the business plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, economics, accounting, construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree in architecture, development, urban planning, business, finance, economics or accounting a plus.
• Proficiency in Office 365 applications, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SVP/VP on regional strategy development and execution.
• Oversee development projects from concept to completion, including construction and tenant improvements.
• Select architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants, review proposals, negotiate terms, and draft contracts.
• Manage consultants, budgets, and construction calendars to keep projects on time and budget.
• Interface with accounting to manage pay applications and financials for projects.
• Support leasing processes, evaluate tenant creditworthiness and interact with brokers.
• Assist with loan compliance and property-level financing alongside VP Capital Markets.
• Maintain relationships with brokers and third parties and present annual budgets.
