Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with strict attention to patient safety and proper documentation. The role emphasizes FLUOROSCOPY, ALARA principles, and collaboration with licensed practitioners across departments.

New graduates must obtain ARRT-R within 6 months of hire; a Radiologic Technology program graduation is required and a related Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire.
• Graduate from Radiologic Technology program (Required).
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with careful patient identification and history.
• Apply imaging protocols and ALARA to maximize safety and quality.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure proper data storage and transfer.
• Educate students and other health care staff as required.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic procedures and other radiologic tasks.
• Conduct procedures in OR, ICU, Endoscopy and other settings as needed.
