Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Radiologic Technologist responsible for administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Candidates will perform a full range of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures while ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols.

The ideal applicant will have graduated from a recognized Radiologic Technology program and possess or be willing to obtain the ARRT-R registry. Full-time and part-time positions come with comprehensive healthcare benefits starting from the first day.

Qualifications

• New graduates must obtain an ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire.
• Applicants hired after March 10, 2024 must complete steps for advancing to level 2 within 24 months.
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct order, patient identification, and corroboration of clinical history.
• Utilize imaging protocol, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and document medication and radiation exposure.
