Job summary

KONE Americas is seeking a Quality Manager to lead regional quality initiatives across the Americas. You will drive continuous improvement, align quality strategies with unit targets, and support branches in problem solving to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality from sales to service.

The role requires 5+ years in sourcing, supply chain or quality with a BS/BA, and a willingness to travel up to 60% across the region. This is a leadership role in a global elevator and escalator company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain management or relevant area.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (BS/BA) from an accredited college or university.
• Proven project management
• Leadership and ability to work in cross-functional and international environments
• At least 3–5 years progressive experience in quality
• Analytical skills with experience in Six Sigma or other quality tools
• Demonstrated success managing teams in complex situations
• Ability to travel (60% of time) across the region

Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve regional quality performance.
• Ensure alignment and execution of full chain quality strategy at regional level.
• Support branches and districts in problem solving to reduce Cost of Poor Quality across sales, ordering, delivering, installation, hand-over and service.
