The candidate will develop procedures, monitor KPIs, and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement. Travel up to 75% is required and a background in logistics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Travel up to 75% within the region.
• Strong knowledge of LTL operations and freight handling processes.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in transportation or logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality processes across multiple terminals.
• Introduce and integrate new quality procedures for LTL operations.
• Provide guidance to field leadership on best freight handling practices.
• Foster continuous improvement and quality excellence in freight handling.
• Conduct site visits to monitor quality performance.
• Establish and track KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Analyze data to identify trends and improvement areas in freight ops.
• Implement corrective actions and best practices to enhance quality and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee dunnage inventory and proper usage.
• Troubleshoot quality issues at the customer level.
