Job summary

Forvia is seeking a Warranty Management professional to lead the warranty team across plants and work with the customer warranty network to monitor and resolve product issues. You will manage the collection and return of warranty parts, forecast costs, and present executive summaries on warranty performance.

The role emphasizes statistical analysis, early failure trend prediction, and supervising Warranty Engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of warranty experience.
• Familiar with OEM customer portals such as Ford, GM, Stellantis.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt - preferred.
• Experience working within a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead warranty team and plants, interfacing with customer warranty network to monitor and resolve final product issues.
• Manage customer relations for collection and return of warranty parts.
• Forecast warranty costs based on feedback and data; present executive summaries.
• Develop and manage warranty cost reduction programs.
• Develop and implement statistical analyses and early prediction of failure trends for all products.
• Supervise and coach Warranty Engineers and review warranty data.
• Analyze customer warranty policies and update internal procedures to meet requirements.
• Report monthly performance, trends, Pareto and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Quality to address warranty issues.
• Liaise with Engineering requesting ECRs and driving improvements to warranty issues.
• Ensure timely response to customers based on root cause analysis.
