Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional Quality & Benchmarking Specialist to build and implement quality systems for Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) across multiple sites. You will guide field teams, evaluate RME performance, and drive world-class maintenance practices for year-over-year reliability improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in project leadership, maintenance or engineering, and a Bachelor's in engineering or related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects
• 5+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• 5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience
• Willing to travel domestically up to 20%

Responsibilities

• You will develop parts cage quality standards by creating work benches, tracking quality data and vendor defect rates, and building standard work processes for parts quality management
• You will create risk-based forecasting tools that help site maintenance leaders prioritize work based on asset failure probability and partner with central reliability and RAPA teams to develop tracking automation for audit and parts mechanisms
• You will define RME standard work procedures for maintenance quality, timing, and structure across all sites and providers, while conducting regular field audits to analyze performance against best practices
• You will lead network-wide Continuous Improvement initiatives using AMS Standards and validate new company-wide Program Management (PM) processes that meet safety and effectiveness standards
• You will be able to travel domestically up to 20%
