Job summary

AvantStay in Hilton Head Island is seeking an Area Manager to oversee daily operations across our local properties, coordinating with maintenance, housekeeping, and operations teams. This role requires close proximity to the market and frequent travel to sites to meet guest and owner expectations.

Responsibilities include supervising market staff, building relationships with property owners, resolving guest and homeowner issues, ensuring adherence to AvantStay standards, coordinating routine

Qualifications

• 4+ years of property management across multi-site locations.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years in homeowner relations.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays with flexible schedule.
• Able to stand, walk, and drive between properties.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform light maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervising and managing market staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with property owners and review owner distribution statements.
• Oversee guest and homeowner issue resolutions within designated timeframes.
• Maintain AvantStay standards and owner satisfaction metrics.
• Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance tasks across properties.
• Monitor inventory of consumables and linens.
• Conduct regular property inspections for compliance.
• Respond to guest and homeowner inquiries via emails, calls, texts, and tickets.
• Travel daily to properties to oversee operations and be on-call after hours.
