Job summary

Asset Living in California is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community portfolio, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration and risk management.

The role requires leadership of on-site staff, adherence to safety and fair housing guidelines, and travel of approximately 25–50% of work time for property visits and conferences. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with CAM/ARM credentials favored.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Ensure staff performance management and HR communications.
• Approve timesheets and manage payroll-related tasks.
• Monitor budgets, income and expenses, and cost controls.
• Develop yearly marketing plans and leasing strategies.
• Oversee property operations, safety, and fair housing compliance.
• Travel 25–50% for property visits and conferences.
