Job summary

Asset Living is a nationwide property management firm seeking a Regional Manager to oversee a housing portfolio, directing operations, leasing, maintenance, and finances. You will lead onsite staff, enforce policy compliance, and strive to maximize net operating income through strategic cost control and revenue improvements.

Qualified candidates will manage multiple communities, develop budgets, mentor teams, and ensure safety and fair housing compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years housing industry experience.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use on-site software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Ensure staff effectiveness through training, coaching, and guidance per Asset benchmarks.
• Address performance problems and coordinate with HR for action.
• Prepare salary increase requests and sign off on site requests.
• Ensure counseling statements and evaluations are provided for review by VP and HR.
• Approve timesheets; track vacation and sick time; ensure signatures.
• Promote harmony and quality performance through leadership.
• Ensure policy compliance across staff and procedures.
• Aim for high net operating income via cost control and leasing improvements.
• Develop annual operating budgets and forecasts.
• Provide monthly income/expense evaluations beyond budget.
• Suggest capital improvements for future site needs.
• Monitor proposals and contracts for large projects.
• Ensure timely rent collection and deposit reconciliation.
• Monitor vendor invoices and coding.
• Ensure timely property closeout and accurate financial reports.
