Job summary

Community Management Corporation seeks an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee multiple apartment communities in the Raleigh, Durham, and Apex areas of North Carolina. The role requires independence, strong financial oversight, and knowledge of Section 8, Rural Development, and Tax Credit programs.

Travel to properties is required; occasional days at the Raleigh corporate office may be needed. Excellent communication, computer skills, and experience managing multi-family operations

Qualifications

• College Degree preferred.
• Five years prior industry experience preferred.
• Affordable Housing designations preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Computer software experience to include Word, Excel, Outlook or Gmail, and property management software required.
• Basic understanding of NC Tenant/Landlord laws, Fair Housing/ADA regulations, and OSHA requirements for property management industry.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise and terminate, if necessary, on-site staff.
• Prepare and present information for owners/sponsors (i.e. financial statements, budgets and rental schedules).
• Prepare necessary correspondence.
• Monitor advertising and marketing for compliance with standards.
• Review and adjust hours worked for all employees in portfolio.
• Prepare annual budgets and cash flow statements.
• Initiate and obtain approvals for rent changes.
• Direct maintenance and repairs and ensure safety standards.
