Job summary

Birge & Held is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee multiple communities, supervise site staff, and ensure strong financial performance. The role requires leading teams, managing budgets, and maintaining regulatory compliance across sites.

You will work within a hybrid schedule, coordinating with regional leadership to optimize operations, budgeting, and resident satisfaction while driving profitability and growth for the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business preferred.
• 3–5 years supervisory apartment management experience.
• Multi-site management experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience budgeting, marketing plans, fair housing practices, maintenance, staff training and supervision, and rent collections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations across assigned communities to ensure profitability.
• Lead Property Managers and support staff to meet budget and KPI targets.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and explain variances to senior management.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to attract residents.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and other regulations.
• Recruit, train and motivate site staff; oversee vendor contracts.
• Monitor asset performance using KPI dashboards.
• Perform regular property inspections to maintain standards.
