Job summary

Pratum Companies is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee multi-site affordable housing portfolios in the DC/MD/VA region, with daily on-site presence in Baltimore, MD. The role requires leadership of on-site teams, budget responsibility, and regulatory compliance to maximize occupancy and financial performance.

The position demands 80%+ travel to properties, extensive use of Yardi and MS Office, and familiarity with LIHTC, Section 8, MORs, and REAC/Nspire processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years-experience in affordable LIHTC & Project Based Section 8 multi-family affordable housing property management.
• Willing to travel 80%+ of the time to be on-site at properties within the RPM's assigned portfolio.
• College degree preferred, CPM/HCCP/COS/certification or equivalent strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operations of assigned properties and staff.
• Review monthly financial reports and owner communications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Hire, train and evaluate staff; manage performance.
• Review leases, contracts, and rent schedules; enforce standards.
• Prepare and implement budgets; negotiate contracts as needed.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and on-site visits.
• Maintain strong resident relations and customer service.
