What does a Regional Property Manager do?
As a Regional Property Manager at EDEN, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned properties, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents. Each day, you'll engage with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns while fostering a customer-centric atmosphere. Your typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, with occasional on-call rotations to handle emergencies or urgent property issues.
You will collaborate with maintenance teams, conduct property inspections, and manage lease agreements, all while actively looking for opportunities to innovate and improve services. Expect to participate in regular team meetings, share insights on property performance, and contribute to strategic planning initiatives. Your role will be vital in creating thriving communities that embody our core values of empathy and excellence.
Are you a good fit for this Regional Property Manager job?
To succeed as a Regional Property Manager at EDEN, you must possess a strong foundation in property management and leadership. A Bachelor's Degree in social services or a business-related field is preferred, along with a minimum of three years of property management or related experience and three years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program is highly beneficial. Effective communication skills are crucial, especially if you can speak multiple languages, as this can greatly enhance resident interactions. A valid Ohio driver's license, a good driving record, and proof of insurance are mandatory, as you'll need a reliable personal vehicle for work-related tasks.
Additionally, obtaining the Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM) certification upon hiring is required to further develop your expertise in the field. Your ability to adapt, think innovatively, and remain customer-focused will be key to your success in this role.
