Overview
We seek a proactive Regional Property Manager to oversee our sub-portfolios, lead onsite staff, and develop operational systems for property stabilization. The ideal candidate is initiative-driven, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and values collaboration. Candidate Profile
- 10+ years experience managing distressed assets, including Class C properties and portfolios in unstabilized situations or receiverships
- 5+ years leadership experience, with a proven track record in recruiting, training, and supervising property teams
- Ability to analyze financial statements and improve property NOI
- Strong operational skills across leasing, maintenance, collections, and reporting
- Excellent communication skills, professional and compassionate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Yardi Voyager and RentCafe is a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and navigate multiple flights of stairs
Core Responsibilities
Property Management
- Oversee daily operations of multifamily portfolios (300-1200 units)
- Monitor performance, maximize occupancy and revenue
- Implement processes for leasing, maintenance, budgeting, reporting
- Coordinate with rental assistance programs
- Manage capital improvement projects
- Lead property insurance processes
Property Assessment
- Assess distressed properties for issues and repairs
- Develop stabilization strategies
Staff Management
- Hire, train, supervise onsite staff
- Conduct evaluations, foster positive work environment
Maintenance & Repairs
- Coordinate maintenance activities
- Supervise contractors and staff
- Implement preventive maintenance
Communication
- Maintain communication with owners, stakeholders
- Serve as liaison within organization
