American Communities is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee the Houston, TX portfolio of four apartment communities. You will lead on-site teams, drive financial performance, and ensure operational excellence across properties.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to travel between properties. You will collaborate with corporate leadership and optimize marketing, leasing, and rent strategies to meet goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of property management leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, financial, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Google Workspace preferred.
• Ability to travel between assigned properties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, coach, and lead on-site teams.
• Oversee budgets, financial performance, and revenue goals.
• Analyze property performance and reports to identify opportunities.
• Conduct regular property visits and inspections for compliance.
• Develop and support marketing, leasing, and rent optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA, EPA and other regulations.
• Partner with corporate leadership and liaise between offices.
• Provide guidance to Property Managers to achieve company goals.
