Job summary

Avenue5 is seeking a seasoned Regional Manager to oversee the operations of multiple properties in the Silver Spring, MD area. You will lead property leadership teams, manage lease administration, vendor contracts, and ensure resident satisfaction while upholding company standards and budget controls.

You will drive occupancy and financial performance, prepare monthly reports, mentor staff, and coordinate with marketing. Some travel is required; HUD/loan familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five to ten years in property management.
• Three to five years direct management experience.
• Real estate license required by state/local law.
• Knowledge of P&L statements and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of multiple properties including resident satisfaction, lease administration, rental collection, and property P&L.
• Ensure high client and resident satisfaction.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage associates.
• Create strategic marketing plans with the Avenue5 marketing team.
• Manage annual budgets, general ledger, and reporting for property owners and leadership.
• Inspect properties regularly to maintain curb appeal and operations.
• Respond to escalated resident issues and liaise with corporate office.
• Oversee safety records, loss claims, and risk management initiatives.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
