Job summary

CWS is seeking a Regional Director in Austin, TX to manage a portfolio of apartment communities with a focus on performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will lead on-site teams, drive lease performance, and ensure adherence to operating policies and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a strategic leader who can coach managers, control expenses, and ensure high standards of living. Expect collaboration across departments and a strong emphasis on safety and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; graduate degree a plus.
• 10+ years progressive management experience in multifamily real estate.
• Knowledge of multifamily trends, best practices, rules and regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Office and property management systems such as Yardi.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance of on-site personnel across a portfolio of apartment properties.
• Ensure compliance with CWS safety practices and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor on-site managers to deliver safe, high-quality living experiences.
• Manage budgeting, leasing strategies, and financial goals for the portfolio.
• Monitor property inspections, safety reports, and maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with corporate departments to align income, expenses, and safety.
