Job summary

The Freeman Company in McCook, IL is seeking a Project Manager – Business Operations to support the General Manager and Director of Operations. You will help plan and execute regional projects, coordinate with operations and sales, and drive efficiencies across the Audio Visual and Event Technology teams.

The role is hybrid, requiring in-office or show-site presence about three days per week. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in the industry, 2+ years leading projects, and working knowledge of AV

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years’ professional industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing projects.
• Working knowledge of audio visual systems and live event production.
• Ability to lead in a matrix organization and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and implementation of operational activities in the region.
• Review and resolve production schedule conflicts between internal departments and outside parties.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, facilities, and labor providers.
• Attend pre-con meetings and assist with site surveys as needed.
• Maintain documentation of operational information for events in the region.
• Coordinate plans with show site execution team to maximize profitability.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed at show sites.
• Support sales with understanding of facilities’ operational guidelines.
• Serve as liaison to multiple teams to ensure synergy.
• Measure project performance to identify areas of improvement.
