Job summary

Mississippi Lime Co. is seeking a Regional Project Manager to lead capital projects across multiple plant locations, driving planning, execution and delivery with a focus on safety, compliance, cost control and operational excellence.

You will develop scopes, budgets and ROI analyses, coordinate engineers, contractors and vendors, monitor schedules, and support outages and maintenance initiatives while upholding MSHA and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field is required; Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management, engineering, or related experience in mining, aggregates, manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience managing capital projects, budgets, schedules, contractors, and project execution activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage regional capital projects from concept through implementation and closeout.
• Develop project scopes, feasibility studies, budgets, ROI analyses, and execution plans.
• Lead project stakeholders, engineering resources, contractors, and vendors to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor project schedules, costs, and performance, providing updates to leadership.
• Oversee construction activities and ensure adherence to engineering, safety, and project management standards.
• Prepare bid packages, evaluate proposals, and coordinate procurement of equipment and services.
• Support plant outages, shutdowns, maintenance initiatives, and operational improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, MSHA requirements, and company policies while promoting continuous improvement.
