Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, is seeking a Project Manager to lead manufacturing projects across facilities. You will drive capital investments, product transfers, and technology implementations while coordinating with local and global teams to deliver projects that meet safety and quality goals.

The role requires strong project planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills, with experience in ITM systems or operational excellence programs highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Operations, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, or related discipline.
• Experience managing capital, construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure-related projects.
• Strong expertise in project planning, budgeting, execution, and performance management.
• Experience working within Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) systems or similar operational excellence programs is highly preferred.
• Project Management certification or advanced PM training is a strong asset.
• Ability to influence and coordinate resources across teams without direct reporting authority, supported by excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Candidate must already have authorization to work in the United States that would permit employment with Hitachi Energy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute manufacturing projects across one or multiple facilities.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
• Manage capital projects, product transfers, technology implementations, and new product introductions.
• Monitor project performance and provide updates to Hub leadership and key stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships across global and local cross-functional teams.
• Identify risks, resolve issues, and drive timely project decisions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Coach and support project team members to achieve project goals and successful outcomes.
