Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking a Regional Project Cost Accountant to support the Southeast Region. The role ensures accurate project setup, cost tracking, and reliable reporting across accounting, FP&A, and operations, with close collaboration to drive profitable project outcomes.

The position is based onsite in Franklin, TN (relocating to Nashville in November 2026) and reports to the Regional Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction accounting, project accounting, or project cost accounting experience.
• Experience with job cost tracking, budgeting, and WIP reporting within a project-based environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple stakeholders and departments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate project setup and maintenance within company systems, including cost structures, budgets, and project financial data.
• Monitor job costs, support WIP reporting, and help maintain the accuracy and integrity of project financial information.
• Coordinate project closeout activities, including compliance documentation, lien waivers, open commitments, and cross-functional follow-up.
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Project Controls, Payroll, AP/AR, and Operations teams to resolve issues and support project financial performance.
• Support month-end close processes by reviewing project transactions, researching discrepancies, and helping ensure accurate reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and support standardization across regional operations.
