Job summary

Loenbro, LLC in Franklin, TN is seeking a Regional Director of Planning and Controls to lead nationwide project planning, control standards, and audit programs. This role bridges executive leadership and field teams to ensure consistency, accountability, and financial predictability across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Finance; MBA or PMP preferred.
• 12+ years in Project Controls, Planning, or Construction Management, with at least 5 years in regional or multi-project leadership.
• Strong understanding of Earned Value Management, cost-loading methodologies, and enterprise scheduling software.
• Ability to spot anomalies in large datasets (LEI, Productivity, Forecasts) and trace to field behavior.
• Collaborate with regional leadership and cross-functional department heads to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Enforce processes and standard operating procedures across Planning, Controls, and Project teams.
• Ensure PMs and Field Supervisors are trained on planning, control systems, and SOPs.
• Lead milestone audits at 10%, 30%, 60%, and 90% completion; adjust for smaller projects as needed.
• Advise on kickoff meetings and pre-job planning to start projects with a solid baseline.
• Guide 80% completion exit strategy meetings and support post-job reviews for lessons learned.
• Maintain awareness of regional operations through project awards, budgets, staffing, and client surveys.
