Job summary

Loenbro in Franklin, TN is seeking a Regional Director of Planning and Controls to lead the worldwide standards for project planning, control systems, and data quality. This in-person role bridges executive strategy with field execution, driving accountability and training a regional team of project controls professionals.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Project Controls, Planning, or Construction Management, with at least 5 years in a regional or multi-project leadership capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Finance (MBA or PMP preferred).
• Deep understanding of Earned Value Management, cost-loading methodologies, and enterprise scheduling/planning software.
• Ability to spot anomalies in large datasets and communicate insights to executives.
• Operational diplomacy balancing financial and operational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Process Enforcement: Bring accountability to Controls, Planning, and Project teams by ensuring all activities are performed to established Loenbro process standards.
• Workforce Readiness: Hold regional accountability for ensuring that Project Managers (PMs) and Field Supervision (FS) undergo required training on planning, control systems, and standard operating procedures.
• Change Leadership: Support and champion process, system, and organizational team change management initiatives across the region.
• Milestone Audits: Conduct formal progress meetings and audits at defined marks and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
• Forecasting & Budget Oversight: Manage project cost forecasts, LEI analysis, and monthly cost reports to protect financial health.
