Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Regional Project Cost Accountant to support construction projects across the Southeast Region. This role ensures accurate project setup, cost tracking, compliance coordination, and data integrity, partnering with Accounting, FP&A, and Operations to drive reliable reporting and successful closeout.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in construction accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction or project costing.
• Experience with job cost tracking, budgeting, and WIP reporting.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct project setup and maintenance in systems.
• Monitor job costs and assist with WIP reporting.
• Coordinate project closeout activities, including lien waivers.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Project Controls, Payroll, AP/AR, and Operations.
• Support month-end close processes and resolve discrepancies.
• Suggest process improvements and internal controls.
