Job summary

Montana Conservation Corps in Helena, MT is seeking a Regional Program Manager to lead MCC field programs in the region and supervise regional Field Coordinators. The PM will oversee onboarding, program implementation, safety compliance, and partner collaboration to advance MCC objectives.

Start date 11/16/2026, wage $55,120 annually, with benefits including health insurance, 4 weeks vacation, sick leave, holidays, floating holidays, Fridays off from Thanksgiving to New Years, and retirement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Previous supervision experience.
• Strong interpersonal and administrative skills, able to communicate well.
• Three years of experience in youth development, outdoor recreation, education, or natural resource work.
• Technical skills including trail maintenance, chainsaw use, fencing, stream restoration.
• Willingness to overnight trips up to a week, often camping.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, cloud-based collaboration systems, and G Suite.
• Minimum age 21.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Ability to attain Wilderness Advanced First-Aid/CPR; advanced First-Aid preferred.
• Ability to pass a Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Administrative: Oversee recruitment and onboarding of Crew Leaders and Crew Members.
• Coordinate onboarding tasks with State Office administrative team.
• Manage crew rosters and personnel to support program objectives.
• Monitor participant wellness and medical screening during onboarding.
• Ensure timely submission of Timesheets, Reports, and evaluations.
• Utilize statewide file-sharing and database software for member management.
• Maintain regional tracking systems and budget.
• Participate in statewide staff and peer meetings.
• Support emergency on-call schedule.
