Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a highly adaptable Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support our Services to the Armed Forces (SAF) programs in overseas locations. SAF reserve staff are typically assigned to short-term deployments with remote training and in-person sessions, with paid time off at the end of assignments.

This role requires deploying to U.S. military installations in the Middle East, Africa, or Eastern Europe, living on base, and meeting medical and security clearances

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or related field.
• Minimum five years in program management or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee Emergency Communication Casework for SAF/IS in deployed settings.
• Monitor and report program activities, trends, and outcomes; support deployment feedback.
• Build relationships with military leadership and installation partners; coordinate outreach.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers; ensure compliance and engagement.
• Supervise mobile deployment readiness, manage logistics, and support contingency operations.
• Support readiness drills and maintain casework proficiency in challenging environments.
