Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking an Area Manager to lead multiple residential programs in Indiana. You will supervise staff, ensure program quality, and maintain compliance with Medicaid and licensing standards while supporting individuals in making informed choices.

The role emphasizes staff development, operational oversight, and partnership with families and providers to sustain high-quality, person-centered services across a regional footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field is required.
• 2–3+ years of experience supporting individuals with IDD/DD, long-term care, or community-based services with supervisory/management exposure.
• Understanding of person-centered supports, compliance standards, and Medicaid/CIH Waivers or HCBS services preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and ability to adapt to new technology platforms.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record meeting agency insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support employees across assigned residential programs; assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and staff development.
• Oversee daily operations of multiple homes; ensure services remain person-centered, compliant, and audit-ready.
• Promote individual choice, independence, and ISP/BSP alignment; address concerns with professionalism.
• Monitor staffing trends, program performance, and on-call coverage; participate in on-call rotation.
