Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Mechanical Product Manager to apply roll services expertise and understand Valmet’s broader technology offerings. You will tailor product presentations to customer needs, drive growth targets, and coordinate external and internal activities from solution generation to defining specifications.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of mechanical offerings in the roll service group and travel to regional and national/international sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with five years related experience or training.
• Sales experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
• Strong understanding of paper machinery and roll products/technologies.

Responsibilities

• Apply roll services knowledge to develop customer solutions.
• Review technical specs and drawings; provide technical support.
• Assist sales with troubleshooting roll service items and quotes.
• Develop proposals, drawings, simulations and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and inspectors to apply Valmet technology.
• Learn Valmet drawing systems and build technical competence in roll tech.
