Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies, Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Manager, Process Cooling Sales for the Northeast and EPC East. You will lead a regional team of representatives, drive revenue growth, and ensure superb customer and aftermarket experience.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate with engineers, customers, and SPX headquarters to align goals, pricing, and discounting while pursuing new business in demanding industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other technical field preferred.
• 10+ years in representative management or direct sales.
• Knowledge of HVAC/cooling towers is helpful.
• Experience in aftermarket or distributor sales (representative management).

Responsibilities

• Manage individual representatives with booking and revenue goals.
• Develop, manage and evaluate reps and their growth plans.
• Conduct monthly reviews with representatives.
• Actively pursue strategic accounts.
• Work with cross-functional sales team to maximize territory sales.
• Develop strategies for quoting opportunities and pricing.
• Maintain focus on targets and progress toward goals.
• Meet with customers to discuss proposals and close opportunities.
• Meet territory sales and gross margin goals.
• Coordinate territory pricing and discount levels.
• Pass information between reps and SPX headquarters to support sales.
• Regularly review active projects with reps and approve discounts.
• Perform annual market assessments in designated territories.
• Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
• Travel as necessary to support reps in the territory.
