Job summary

Aviagen is seeking a sales and technical support professional to service customers in the assigned region. This role collaborates with the regional business manager to develop and execute action plans, deliver sales and technical support, and drive annual business planning for the territory.

The ideal candidate has strong poultry industry knowledge, excellent communication and budgeting skills, and a track record in developing key relationships with decision makers to grow Aviagen’s market

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in poultry sales or production support.
• Strong understanding of breeder/production systems and processing.
• Proven ability to develop and execute regional action plans.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish sales, service, and support goals for regional accounts.
• Develop plans and deploy resources to implement strategies with customers.
• Identify performance metrics and track results for accounts.
• Collaborate with technical specialists to meet customer needs.
• Maintain regular on-site visits and prepare visit reports.
• Manage budget responsibilities and entertaining as agreed.
