Job summary

HARTING Americas, a subsidiary of HARTING Technology Group, seeks a Head of PMO to lead the regional Project Management Office focusing on governance and execution of strategic regional projects, including capacity expansions.

You will align with the Global CoE PMO strategy, manage resources, and mentor regional PMs while ensuring adherence to the GPMO-Operations Standard across projects and BI reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent; extensive relevant experience may substitute.
• 5+ years experience in Industrial Engineering preferred.
• Classic & Agile Project Management experience.
• Experience in Capacity Expansion a plus.
• BI Tools experience.
• Willingness to travel 20–30%.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Alignment: Develop regional PMO strategy aligned with Global CoE PMO strategy.
• Portfolio Governance: Record, evaluate, prioritize, and plan the regional project portfolio with Regional Head.
• Senior Advisory: Advise senior management on portfolio management, prioritization, resource allocation, and dependencies.
• Resource Management: Optimize human and financial resources across regional projects.
• Direct Project Management: Lead high-complexity regional initiatives using classic and agile methods.
• Project Steering: Define objectives, monitor schedules and budgets, manage risk and scope.
• Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional, cross-cultural project teams and ensure time-tracking per GPMO guidelines.
• Enforce Standards: Ensure adherence to GPMO-Operations Standard and use of designated tools.
• PM Support & Mentorship: Support PMs in planning, organization, and Change Management.
• Training: Organize trainings on the GPMO-Operations Standard.
