Job summary

The Salvation Army in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Regional Planned Giving Director to cover Central Maryland, the Eastern Shore, Western Maryland and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. This role focuses on cultivating, soliciting, securing, documenting and stewarding planned gifts to support the Mission.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of fundraising experience, strong donor relations and communication skills, and the ability to work from a home office with regular regional

Qualifications

• Three years’ fundraising experience including planned giving or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven ability to build relationships with individual clients.
• Self-starter with ability to work from a home office.
• Experience developing, cultivating, stewarding, and managing donor portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain donor relationships and advisors.
• Conduct personal visits and advise on planned gifts.
• Educate advisory boards with success stories and strategies.
• Travel regionally within Central Maryland, Eastern Shore, Western Maryland, WV.
