Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Senior Director of Gift and Estate Planning to lead the Great Lakes Division Planned Giving program. You will develop strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward planned gifts and endowment commitments, while overseeing a team and maintaining a portfolio of major donors.

You will drive fundraising goals, collaborate with division leadership, and serve as a liaison with Territorial Planned Giving leadership to align priorities and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum seven years of fundraising experience, including major gifts and planned giving.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience.
• Proven record of securing major and planned gift commitments.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the division's Planned Giving program.
• Develop and implement divisional goals, plans, and fundraising strategies.
• Manage donor portfolio and cultivate high-capacity prospects.
• Collaborate with related teams to align donor strategies and stewardship.
