Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Health seeks a Regional Executive Director Pharmacy to lead strategy, development, and management of regional clinical and operational pharmacy services across approximately 16–17 sites in the North Division.

This role reports to the Chief Pharmacy Officer and drives medication safety, formulary management, and performance across the system. The position requires a PharmD or equivalent, advanced degrees, and 5 years of leadership experience in multi-site pharmacy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, graduate from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
• Master's Degree with residency or equivalent education/experience; or equivalent education/experience.
• PharmD - Pharmacy; or equivalent education/experience.
• Required upon hire: Alaska Pharmacist License (Vendor Managed).
• 5 years of pharmacy management experience.
• Director experience for a pharmacy of similar size.
• Knowledge of 340B program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Promotes PSJH Mission and Core Values; ensures a safe environment and staff development.
• Sets strategy and manages regional clinical and operational pharmacy programs.
• Develops strategies for safe medication use and oversees adverse drug events.
• Leads continuous quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Leads regional pharmacy leadership and aligns sites with the strategic plan.
