Job summary

Northwell Health seeks a transformative pharmacy leader to direct shared service programs across specialty and retail operations within the system.

You will shape long-term strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and drive initiatives that improve clinical outcomes and financial performance, while ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal drug utilization across multiple sites. You will collaborate with executives on cost analyses, 340B optimization, and new service models to sustain growth.

Qualifications

• MS in Pharmacy is required.
• New York State Pharmacist license is required, with additional certifications as needed.
• 10–12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years in leadership/management are required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Pharmacy specialty and retail function and develop leaders to support system goals.
• Lead operational development for core specialty and non-specialty pharmacy businesses across multiple locations.
• Articulate and execute a long-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
• Provide leadership and guidance for planning and evaluating new business initiatives.
• Collaborate with administrators to analyze information and cost impact of new service models.
• Support decision-making processes for new business initiatives with senior leadership.
• Develop and implement system-wide initiatives across Pharmacy services.
• Participate in planning to improve organizational efficiency and cost control.
• Direct procurement and distribution channels (340B, retail, etc.) for client populations.
• Ensure compliance with fiscal and regulatory reporting standards across government and third parties.
• Oversee IT systems and applications supporting medication use and patient care.
