Job summary

St Johns Regional Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to serve as strategic leader and clinical authority in pharmaceutical care delivery. You will supervise the pharmacy team, review prescriptions for safety, and optimize workflows, collaborating with doctors and nurses to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates have strong clinical expertise, proven leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement and patient safety within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) upon hire.
• Minimum of three (3) years of recent pharmacy or similar work experience.
• Licensed Pharmacist license.
• Masters degree or residency leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the pharmacy team, ensuring safe medication use.
• Review and authorize prescriptions for safety, dosing and allergies.
• Oversee workflow from authorization to dispensing and consult with clinicians.
• Develop policies, supervise staff training, inventory control, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to improve processes and patient safety.
