Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences, business, or healthcare preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare sales experience.
• Minimum 3 years of rare disease or highly specialized sales experience.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing a territory.
• Experience selling in specialized clinics, hospitals, and academic centers.
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 75%).
• Must have a valid driver's license and own car with active insurance.
• Experience in start-up environments and new product launches preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
• Implement marketing strategies to meet sales and patient objectives for neurology and/or Fabry disease products on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Collaborate within a matrix environment with Patient Services, Patient Engagement, Marketing, Managed Markets and Medical Affairs.
• Develop business partnerships with targeted physicians and healthcare staff.
• Identify key treatment centers and facilities and collaborate across centers to optimize patient care.
• Establish relationships with patient and disease-focused advocacy groups.
• Employ a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach tailored to healthcare professionals.
• Address product access and reimbursement issues.
• Cultivate relationships with key thought leaders in neurology and Fabry disease.
• Perform additional tasks as needed and specified by management.
