PTC Therapeutics, Inc is seeking a Regional Account Manager for the Northeast/Eastern Region to represent our neurological and Fabry disease products to medical professionals. You will manage all operational aspects of pharmaceutical sales, promote clinical and economic benefits, and build strong healthcare relationships.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in pharma/biotech sales, 3 years in rare disease, a proven track record of meeting targets, and the ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; life sciences, business or healthcare preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech or healthcare sales experience.
• Minimum 3 years of rare disease or highly specialized sales experience.
• Track record of exceeding sales targets and growing territory.
• Experience in selling to specialized clinics, hospitals, and academic centers.
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic plans.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively; valid driver's license and car.

Responsabilités

• Achieve assigned sales targets in a compliant manner and contribute to the metabolism business unit.
• Implement marketing strategies to meet sales and patient objectives for neurology and/or Fabry disease products on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Collaborate within a matrix environment with Patient Services, Patient Engagement, Marketing, Managed Markets and Medical Affairs.
• Develop business partnerships with targeted physicians and healthcare staff and discuss product value.
• Identify key treatment centers and facilities; collaborate across centers and stakeholders to optimize patient care.
• Establish relationships with patient and disease-focused advocacy groups.
• Employ a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach tailored to healthcare professionals.
• Address and resolve product access and reimbursement issues.
• Cultivate relationships with key thought leaders in neurology and/or Fabry disease.
• Perform additional tasks as needed by management.
